Provider FAQ
How much time does medical direction require?
Time commitment varies by practice size and state requirements, but most medical directors spend 2-6 hours per month per practice. This includes protocol review, chart review, practitioner consultations, and periodic check-ins. You set your availability, and we match you with practices that fit your schedule.
Do I need aesthetic medicine experience?
Direct aesthetic medicine experience is a plus but not required. We look for physicians who understand clinical supervision, are familiar with scope of practice regulations, and are willing to develop expertise in aesthetic protocols. We provide orientation materials and ongoing support to help you get up to speed.
Can I continue my existing practice?
Absolutely. Most of our medical directors maintain their own clinical practices, academic positions, or other professional roles. Medical direction through our platform is designed as a part-time, flexible complement to your existing career.
What does the oversight process look like?
The day-to-day includes reviewing and approving treatment protocols, conducting periodic chart reviews, being available for clinical consultations, and ensuring practitioners operate within their scope. Our platform organizes tasks, deadlines, and communication so nothing falls through the cracks.
How are medical directors compensated?
Compensation is based on the scope of oversight, number of practices, and state requirements. We discuss specifics during the onboarding process. Providers are compensated as independent contractors with straightforward terms and timely payment.
What states are you looking for providers in?
We're actively expanding our network across the United States. We currently have the highest demand in Nevada, Arizona, California, Texas, and Florida, but we welcome applications from providers licensed in any state. Multi-state licensure is a significant advantage.
